the choices are wide and much the same as for other venues but our advice is not to be too ambitious within the marquee itself!

band or disco? music during dinner? how about pre dinner outside? strolling entertainers? guest speaker or cabaret ? all these options require careful consideration as to the way they are presented and the facilities required

have you thought about the possibility of a display outside? something spectacular as the highlight? maybe fireworks?

unless your event is quite small or held adjacent to extensive kitchen facilities, caterers will want a kitchen tent  for preparation, distribution and clearing purposes

the type of food service and preparation details dictate what your caterer will bring in way of equipment but outside caterers are geared for most requirements but will need a dedicated and exclusive area out of bounds to guests!

an interesting point to consider relates to the service of hot beverages - many caterers use gas but some still use power for the service of coffee and for hot water and this requirement is important when assessing the power load for evening events
