as far as marquees are concerned there are only a few suppliers who can hande the tented village requirements of major sporting occasion such as Wimbledon or Royal Ascot but on other hand a marquee in the garden at home for a family celebration requires a company experienced in this area

marquees come in all shapes and sizes - a long way from the old days when it was pretty basic - open span or pole features, big top style, circular and more like temporary buildings with specialist installation crew - it's really important to assess the picture of what is needed to get the right package and a good start can be made by checking off:

• boarded floor and carpet in preference to matting

• interior features

• toilets, awnings and staff and kitchen areas

a small marquee at home is very different to a tented village at a major sporting occasion but if you are not used to hiring marquees there are numerous pitfalls and if your event is outdoors, you should be serious about hiring a marquee if you have no other cover!
