entertainment and music on the move
many events are more suited to the use of strolling entertainers as opposed to cabaret entertainers working from a precise point at a fixed time
there is feeling of bringing entertainment to the guests and although there are physical and technical limitations, close at hand entertainment on the move has grown enormously in popularity
the most successful artists are those who base their performance on visual or circus related skills - close up magic, juggling, mime, living statues, pickpockets, contortionists, acro balance and manipulation
the length of performance can span longer periods than conventional cabaret and production is rarely an issue - the whole concept works well indoors and outdoors and apart from the close quarters performance, the interaction with guests or crowd is a real plus factor
