toastmasters comperes and linking

 brian harvey in action

there are numerous toastmasters in this country - seemingly fairly unique to the UK

however, few are capable of the multitude of tasks that could be presented to them and even fewer have the necessary experience of dealing with entertainers in the way that most clients require

the toastmasters we suggest are chosen carefully for their suitability for the event in question

some of our toastmasters are happy to work in theme related roles or in black tie as opposed to the familiar redcoat

linking

there are many occasions where clients want a "front man" to link aspects of their event but they do not want the formality of a redcoated toastmaster - the latter are vital to certain events but not others

the role so often needed is that of announcer, co-ordinator with venue, caterer and entertainers and the ability to provide technical facilities and take care of many of the small things that can present problems in the successful running of an event

auctioneers

a good auctioneer is a key person when it comes to successful event fund raising

willing volunteers are welcome for most things but a capable experienced auctioneer can make all the difference to the result of auctions

it is well worth noting that auctions rarely involve more than just a few bidders and the trick is to sustain interest of the non bidders as well as getting the best results for the beneficiaries

even the best auctioneer is only able to achieve results given auction items that are atrractive and appealing to guests and with the necessary perceived value
